Hey guys, I would like to come out and play the weekend after this coming weekend. Anybody have park options and such for me? Also, anyone have any loaner equipment I could use, say a sword or two?

I will let the more active Amtgarders post park info and such. I will just post that I am sad since I will be at SKBC that week. I hope you have such a great time that you come back again soon.

In that case I will probably put it off one more week since most of the people I will want to fight will be gone I am sure. Thanks for the thoughts Will

We meet in Brighton for IMD now. Typically the park starts at noon, but there will be ost folks there by 12:30. The easiest way to get there is to take 25 to 76, go East on 76 till you reach Hwy 85 to Brighton. Take 35 till you reach the HWY 7 exit. You will exit onto a round-about. You will head East on HWY 7, which is also called Bridge St in Brighton. Follow Bridge till you get to 10th Ave. Left on 10th. The road will run directly into the park. We typically meet under the pavilion.
There is also always a box of loaner weapons for those folks who don't have their own.
Anything else you'll need?

that was supposed to say HWY 85 to HWY 7. That's what happens when you post with painkillers in your system. If you have any questions, call us and we'll lead you in.

Thanks man, I appreciate it and I don't think I need anything else unless things have changed significantly since I left. Any new major rules I need to know about?

The 7.0 rules have changed a lot about how we play battlegames, but aside from that there isn't much difference in the way we ditch.

I've got some materials. I'll put you together a couple swords, 'cuz I'm not sure the loaner gear is really that safe :)

For clarification, we're talking 4/21? Or 4/14?

4/21 buddy. Not safe or not safe for me?;)

Some of column A, some of column B. We've got a whole slew of newbies at the park, and most of them have yet to move out of the "swing it as hard as you can" phase, so they're pretty hard on the loaner stuff :)

Any preference for handle type?
