Ohhhh. I have been guilty for buying a few shoes that I can't wear for more than half an hour without hurting my feet... yeah, it's because they look pretty and my legs look pretty in them too. But I have this one pair of wedges that are around 12 cm long, open toes, and very comfortable to wear! I think it's because they're not very steep like most stilettos, you know. So I don't have to actually walk on my tiptoes alone.

My fav type of shoes is ankle boots. But all of my boots are like the pain in the ass. Nevertheless, I still want to believe that there are nice, pretty, and comfortable boots out there. I still want to believe...

Btw, that pic of Girl's Generation's legs looks photoshopped!!!12

I can honestly say I own no stilettos because there's no way my foot would go halfway into it in the first place, haha. Yeah, I got a pair of wedge heels and boots with heels. The boots are AWESOME.. but after wearing them and walking around for 30 minutes, I began to understand how it would feel to undergo foot binding. Do you think ballerinas would have an easier time wearing stilettos/heels of any sort ( ... )

Now you remind me. I need to get myself a foam liner!

And as for your question, I have never worn nor touched ballet shoes (or pointe shoes) myself xD But I think if a shoe can hurt somebody's feet for whatever reason (maybe some part of the shoes is smaller than the size of a certain part of your foot, or it inflicts sore on your soles), then whoever wears it won't stand walking in those shoes for long. But if there's nothing wrong with the shoes, then it may just take some time to get used to wearing them. Practice makes perfect haha.

And boots, you can wear them anytime to just look good? Maybe when you go out with friends eating or something, you can wear them? But if the foam liner only helps a bit, walking in those boots will give you a bad time indeed :/

haha, I would be lying if I said that none of my shoes - even my usual ones that I go to - give me no trouble. I think in order to get the perfect so, they would need to be custom made.. or I get them at 'specialty' shoe stores like SAS that have special sizes for people with odd feet or with jobs that require them to stand for hours at a time. However, they don't carry the awesome styles. :( BUT those foam liners really do help! ^^ I would wear my boots all day shopping or just hanging out with friends and other than the whole "OMG the soles of my feet ache" which feels similar to hiking/walking all day in tennis shoes or something similar, it feels fine ( ... )

LOL... AWESOME. One more to add to the "Heels Are Overrated" group! ^^

Yes, I have grown into my shortness after being short my whole life. I just only got into my "I want to dress like an adult" phase. haha, since I was never into the girly dresses or shoes or make up at any one point in my life.

What would be your ideal height? Better question -- how tall is your girl? :D

She will now be referred to as 'the missus' by me as long as I remember that title. :) Oooh.. haha, interestingly enough, I hear my parents (especially my mom, which is funny because she's 3-4 inches shorter than I) and grandparents telling me it would be better if I were a couple inches taller. O_o

You comment on dwarfs made me snort out loud. Then I immediately felt bad afterwards. :( I place the blame all on you.

So are you saying that the exception is for those with dwarfism because they can't get any taller or that if they're fully grown and under 4 feet, they're no longer 100% cuter?

haha... either way, I guess. Down here though, it's interesting to see the tall ones tower over you. ^^
