Besides some old magazines, telephone books, a bottle of whiskey, and a few glass tumblers, nothing of importance was sequestered inside. Not missing a beat, he reached for what he had come for

Am I wrong? Oh hell, this is a big mystery!!! Was Randall Jack's lover? Does he have something to do with all of his? Or maybe Lureen's father? Is Jack beaten somewhere out there? Did he pretend a faked disappearance to start a new life being what he really is? Is he with another man now? Is he locked in some dark place with bad people keeping him there?

I WANNA KNOW!!!! Mooooore, please!!!

This is a great chapter. Oh yeah, I do love a good photograph. The camera never blinks and usually manages to reveal us in our most unflattering light -- and they usually have a completely new story to someone seeing them with fresh eyes. I am very anxious to read more. Thank you for sharing this.

This is getting stranger and stranger. Why is Jack never smiling in a photograph? Answer: because he's a very unhappy man! Is Randall his lover? Answer: More like a fuckbuddy, someone to scratch the itch. Why did Randall return alone from their last trip? Answer: because they had a big fight and Jack told Randall it was over between them. Is L.D. involved in Jack's disappearance? Answer: Hell, YES!!! Does Lureen know Jack is gay? Answer: yes. And she's hiding it out of shame that anyone should find out she wasn't good enough to hold Jack. Has Jack disappeared because of L.D.? Answer: yes. Either Jack has run away and gone into hiding (Doubtful. Jack's not the 'hiding' type.) or L.D.'s got him and he's being held somewhere against his will.
