Boycott the MACIF !
Why would I be pissed off, really ?
Because my fucking car insurance sent me a letter to tell me that they will not renew my contract. Because they responded to my phone call with this "you realise, madame, that we are under no legal obligation to tell you why we void your contract, just like you would have no obligation to explain why you'd leave, would you choose to, but yes, the "sinistralité" (which by the way is such an insurance's word, stupid bitch ! but certainly not one that real people use) of your case may explain why we put an end to our collaboration", meaning they dump me because some stupid guy tried twice last year to steal my car and the insurance had to pay for the replacing of two doors. Not one fucking accident for the six years I've been with them, I was a good enough customer then, and now they end it like this ?! So let me make this clear to anyone in France reading this : do NEVER deal with the MACIF, they're only bastards. And yes, I know that I'll probably see this elsewhere but they deserve every bit of bad advertising they can get from me. So repeat after me : no MACIF !!
Or maybe that's because I've discovered tonight that Stay has been postponed till July 5th. Yeah, that may explain quite a bit too. And they still wonder why people download movies off the net ??? When did you get it in the USA ? October, I think ? Yeah, really pissed off with that one !
And maybe also because it seems I've been at work for two months since the holiday, instead of two weeks. January is always bad, what with all the files to re-create for the new year, plus the New Year wishes, the new people we're temporarily hosting... and then the head office has decided to change the dates for the election of the representatives of the personnel (?). It should have been done at the end of last year but it was so much more fun to do it in January... *grinds her teeth*
There are a few better things : first, my dog has had a kind of lump on one nipple for months, but the vet's always said it was too small to operate, I just had to watch it. I was afraid recently that it was getting worse, she had more lumps, different ones but spreading, but finally the new ones are nothing dangerous, I don't really know how you call this, let's say it's only milk gathering there after her last heat period. She has a treatment for a few days. Oh, and the younger cat is ill and has a treatment too *squeezes her babies madly*
I saw Jarhead yesterday. Very good film, very interesting. The military mind seems so strange to me, that's why I thought it was interesting. There's just something toward the end that was not explained properly I think, otherwise I loved Jarhead. Someone has seen it ? I don't remember any reviews about it on my flist. There's a good article here, a bit spoilery but that will explain better than me why it's a great movie. Plus on the shallow side, seeing Jake Gyllenhaal dancing almost naked save for a red Christmas hat on his cock helped me forget everything else for a moment. Nice ass, too ! ;D And Peter Sarsgaard, no explanation needed, I just like him every time I see him.
Brokeback Mountain is released next Wednesday !! While I wait for it, and for The New World, I'm watching a lot of movies, and also the new seasons of the few TV shows I love : fourth season of Star Trek Enterprise, third one for Nip/Tuck, and at last ! the mini series that was made to end Farscape.
