Soon ?! There's a six months delay at least here for the DVDs, and it's usually even more. Why do you think people download movies from the net, other than the price of the DVDs themselves ?
I'll join you and stare at the pic, it's far better for my mood ! Hope you have a great weekend ;)
I hate it when cinemas do that kind of things. :( We never got BBM this far and it seems like P&P was here for only a couple of weeks (but because we tried to clever, we went to see it almost immediately = 10 people watching altogether)... *sighs* Unfair business. :/
BBM was surprisingly successful here, it may still be playing.
I read a forum where people were ranting about that (they could'nt see BoP either), saying some really stupid French movie stayed for weeks but you couldn't get to see the good (often indie) movies. It's even worse if you live in the countryside ! I should be happy for the big city ! But I couldn't see Dear Frankie for example for the same reason. How do they expect a movie to make money if they don't advertize it first, and then show it ???
What shocks me most is that the local cinema has decided not to show BBM at all. I just checked out their website. :/ Blah. BBM wasn't greatly successful here at all (in the whole Finland, I mean) which I found rather surprising... I basically live in a average-sized city (30,000 residents which is a lot for a Finnish city :D) but because the local cinema is the only one nearby, we usually miss the "indie movies! - what can surely be said about the cinema is that smaller and unsuccessful movies will not come here at all. :( It makes you sad because the nearest cinema then would be about 200 km away!

I do too. I've always heard that the Scandinavian countries were rather open-minded about homosexuality, so I'd have thought that this movie would find its audience easily.
mmm, i love that pic of ewan...it's from one of my fave photoshoots! rawr!
hey there siriala...you finally got your new computers? that's great! are they much faster than your old ones, i'm sure they are! so, maybe, just maybe, now that you'll be working 2x as fast, we'll see you around just a wee bit more? maybe?
i'm sorry you didn't get to go see Breakfast on Pluto. one week? nice. that's like Stay, it only "stayed" for 2 weeks. luckily, i went and saw it twice in that timeframe. i guess with our tastes in movies/actors, we need to go see their stuff the minute it comes out, so we don't risk not seeing it, you know?
He's got everything I love in this one, I've always wanted to make an icon with it.
I haven't really tried the new computer yet, but you know, even if it's twice faster, I am not. My brain's still slow, but you may see a comment from me now and then during the day ;D
I always go as soon as possible to see the movies I'm interested in (and when it's with Ewan or Christian that's because I can't wait, and because I want to see them twice at least ;D) but there were so many since January, and I couldn't imagine this movie would be out so quickly ! As I said above, I just don't understand how they expect to make money if they don't advertize and show the movies !
