I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to post in dnd_humor lately, I've been without internet (the horror!), so of course we've amused ourselves with coming up with weird characters.
Here's one for you:

A cleric... worshipping pelor (the sun god)... and managing to piss off pelor so much that to punish him, he turns him into a vampire. But he's still an advocate cleric of the sun... as for plot line, somehow the sun has been eclipsed,and we're off looking for the reason behind it, and how to restore the sun. What are the odds we come by a vampire that actually wants to help restore the sun? heh.
