The perspective in this is just brilliant. Very, very interesting. I love the allusions, and the way neither boy has any idea just what the hell they're going to end up being, and...just, love.

Now, however, Sirius gives the unknown boy a grin that very soon will become his famous cocksure grin.

This line gives me the warmfuzzies.

When Sirius meets James, he does not think anything at all.

Aww man! I love this. A rather unusual style but it really works. You never know when you are going to make a choice that completely alters the rest of your life and you really do an excellent job of illustrating that. I love the little glimpses of their future together. And little wee Sirius already coming to his own after being away from his parents for ten minutes.

Very nicely done!
