This was a lovely story. I always liked that nursery rhyme, too!

Thank you so much! I love the rhyme too, except I was born on a Tuesday and nobody could be clumsier... Really glad you enjoyed the story.

*hugs you because you're brilliant*
I adore this so much. I think one of the best parts about this whole thing was the humor that the supporting characters added - especially Lily and the mentions of Stan, but I spent so much time while I was reading this snorting with laughter.

*hugs you back bacause you're brilliant AND cool*

Thank you! I'm really glad you liked the funny bits! I'm never sure whether my sense of humour translates, but of course I should always trust a fellow Pisces to understand what I'm doing. ♥

Bloody Brilliant! I love the nursery rhyme. Poor McGonagall all flustered at the pups holding hands, you'd think she would have known. Sirius' and Remus' thoughts on Peter were sad, if only... I do not think I wil ever be able to look at a gingerbread man again and not have visions of it attacking Remus. Loved Lily going vegetarian, poor boys stuck eating chickpeas and tofu. Sirius and Remus heading to KFC was priceless. SO sweet the way they interacted throughout the week but the ending conversation really makes it heartbreaking, so sad that they didn't see it coming.
Excellent!

Thank you very much! ♥ I'm really, really glad you liked it. :)

It veered between fluffy and angsty for a while, and I finally decided to let it be both. The gingerbread man took some thinking about: I kept seeing images from Shrek, and feeling sadistic, because he probably got eaten in the end...

Simply beautiful. I love how you weaved the everyday activities and the joys in with the foreshadowing of unhappier times. I thought it was very effective. Very well done.

Thank you! ♥ I've been working on this for a while, and it started off fluffy, then reality kept creeping in. I eventually saw it as a template for what could have been as opposed to what really happened, which was a bit chilling actually.

aww, so lovely. I love the details you throw in like, Of course, he’s brought Remus a cup of tea, but that’s only reasonable. Remus gets very, very nervous in kitchens, the result of a childhood trauma involving a batch of gingerbread men that came to life and pelted him with raisins. He tries to spare Remus kitchens as much as he can.

teehee *G* you're wonderful.

Thank you very much! ♥

You're wonderful too! *hugs* *hugs again* I'm really glad you liked the gingerbread man! He went through several incarnations before I'd finished with him.
