There's nothing more of a blow to one's ego than applying to many jobs and not being offered a single one. I mean, really. I'm not conceited, but geez! I learn things quickly and easily and work much harder than most people my age ( Read more... )

I can so relate to this load of BS. I've been overqualified since I graduated high school (I think). It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard--okay, one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.

But anyway, I've been rejected so many times. Either I'm too talented or I don't have 3-5 experience. Well, HELLO, how can I get it if you jacka$$es won't hire me??

I had someone tell me that if I had dropped out of high school and wasn't talented they could get me a job... WTF????...

I feel you. I really do.

LOL. Wha? Highschool drop out and no talent = job? The world is a paradox. Pfft.

So yeah. Still looking for a job :-/ Man, I can't wait to just graduate from college and be poor while trying to make films. Hahahaha
