Looking for fic readers
We all love Snape/Black fanfiction. Your organizers would like to share in that love by having a few stories - or just some juicy excerpts - read aloud at the meetup. So, as previously mentioned, we're looking for anyone willing to read their own or someone else's fic.
It's simple. Pick a short fic or an excerpt from a longer fic you'd like to read, then comment here. Max. length may depend on how many are interested, but make sure it's about 20-30 minutes or less; however, shorter pieces and even drabbles are more than welcome. If we get more than a couple responses, we may vote on which stories everyone wants to hear most.
Anything goes, as long it's Snape/Black slash or pre-slash (threesomes are ok too). Smut is not necessary but highly encouraged - especially because smutty fic won't be allowed at Authors and Artists Night. But lower ratings are also welcome.
If the fic is yours, you're set. If it's someone else's, there are two conditions: you must ask permission, and you must credit the author before you read it. Fic, of course, is free for everyone's enjoyment... and since we're cutting it close on time, I'm going to say you don't need express permission - if they don't tell you "no" but simply fail to reply, it's fine. So long as you asked.
And don't worry about being a great narrator, or anything! If you're ok reading to a small group, that's all we ask. Also, if you're interested but can't think of what to read, we're more than ready to give you some suggestions. ;)
