What the freaking hell is wrong with me? A few years ago I was disappointed if I got under 80% in any subject. Now 75% seems to be some sort of crazy impossible dream. I know I can get better marks in Textiles and Hospitality and easy things like that if I just study more (and I should've - I'm pissed off about that but at least I know I can change

If it's any consolation, I didn't get English until I was in college. Same with maths. *huge hugs* It's hard to study through the last year of school. There are so many other things. Try to find the good points. Surely there was one subject you did alright in. Maybe there was an aspect you understood for the first time?

Ahahaha *points to Ds in several A level modules*... Nope, no-one gets maths. Einstein was expelled from school for being bad at it, and look where that got him.

I completely agree with Star about finding your strengths and playing to them. Everyone has good and bad times and don't let a bad spell make you think it's all gone pearshaped.

And double-ditto to the "need any help" comments - though the only one of those I've even studied is English.

Oh thanks for that tidbit Nor! I feel much better now. Maybe I should have gone for vet med. I was afraid I would flunk the maths.

*hugs and hugs* school is so stressful! I remember finding that the last couple of years were particularly demanding, and the marks tended to go down. But trust me, once you leave, no one cares. At all. Hang in there and let us know if you need help or just to whine *hugs again*
