Glad this stupid rain is going to end soon. I'm getting bored being cooped up inside all week. It might be annoying fixing everything up, but at least it'll be something to do.
Private to Remus//Unhackable So Moony...what's the plan for tonight? We going to head out to the Wastes in the storm?
Yeah...guess so. I'm just gonna be glad when it's finally over.
[He doesn't like confinement.]
We're planning out what we're going to do right now. We don't have any of that Wolfsbane stuff this time around...and with the flooding it might be a bit rough. We'll manage.
Just keep yourself and Hermione safe, alright? And if you could make sure you're free in the morning, that'd might be helpful. Just in case we run into trouble tonight and need help home.
We will all be grateful when the sun shines down again. And the work will be a welcome change from forced idleness. Perhaps we can make places better than they were before the rains. Would not that be an accomplishment!
Any such improvements, no matter how easy or difficult, would be welcome, would they not? If we are to live here for some unknown duration, why should we not wish to live in the best possible fashion? Sturdy buildings, proper irrigation, things looking fresh rather than run-down - surely these are not unreasonable things to want in a home? And why not use this as the impetus to begin such work, or begin it anew, if it was attempted before?
It's hard to find ways to make this stuff last, though. Specially with the Animus throwing events like this at us all the time. Even magic can't protect everything.

At least I've only got one more day of boredom ahead of me.

I know I can count on you, Hermione. And make sure Harry doesn't do anything stupid while we're gone. I know he's a pretty responsible kid, but James is his father. Just keep an eye on him, okay?

If you need help fixing anything, let me know. [Since she might drop by to see Harry, anyway.]

I'll keep that in mind, love. And if you decide to come over tonight, keep an eye out on Harry, 'kay?
