it's really fucking funny to think about the obvious tactics corporations or businesses employ to "persuade" people to use their services or buy their merchandise. and i always wonder (as i'm watching the dorkiest guy alive lunch with a super hot girl in a mcdonald's commercial), "are there people in the world that ACTUALLY fall for this?" do you think a fellow gym member heard that brainwashing message and, before the operator could terminate his membership, said, "no! wait!! i changed my mind!" if so, what is wrong with this man? he is most likely a blight on society and should be done away with. let's convince him, through our own brainwashing tactics, to be less impressionable.

OMG I know the EXACT commercial you're talking about and I love how stupid it is! The guy looks like Steve Buscemi's little brother or something, right? Oh my like-minded friend, how I miss the OMG moments we often share.

I'm pretty sure the annoyance factor HAS compelled many people to hang up and procrastinate cancelling their membership even longer, as it did me. So I'm not sure if they are smart or stupid but they sure are dumbasses.

This is totally unrelated, but what happened with Six Feet Under Season 5? It was on my saved queue and now it like disappeared and it says unavailable? Any idea?

oh crap, I totally forgot as I got myself into another season of 24 and then a severe lack of movie watching. That's not the first time that has happened to me where Netflix says something will be available and suddenly it's not available for many months. It seemed too good to be true that season 5 would be available so soon. Oh well, something to look forward to.
