This is the last stint of my medical leave, and I just heard yesterday through the grape-vine that my company had layoffs yesterday. Oh yeah... that makes me want to go back to work. Crap crap crap.

I know the feeling. AOL decided to do lay-offs during my honeymoon when I got married in '96. Good thing we'd decided to stay home for the week (or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it). My phone was ringing off the hook Tuesday morning, "omg! So and so is gone! And this person! And that one! Do you have a job still????"

Hi jenna. Thanks... they always do. I always land on my feet, and I'm sure that down the road, looking back, things will be better and better. In that regard, I've lived an almost "charmed" life. In the moment, it's hard to see that.

Good luck, remember even if they do lay you off you stil have cobra and the next surgery is really soon right? August? i have tons of adaptive devices that i will finished wiht about that time that you can borrow to save some bucks.
