Recently I was flipping through the TV channels and I landed on a program called Dr. 90210. I don't know what made me stop and watch this show, but sometimes I watch something that truly bothers me just so I can get a little more disgusted with the world and it's perversion. I agree. I think we, as Christians, tend to think that "God would want us to have this" or "God would want us to have that" When in reality he is not concerned with what we look like or how others view us. He is only concerned about the true us. Not our flesh.

I am only speaking about vanity in the previous post. I believe that we honor God by putting forth reasonable effort to keep ourselves clean and dressed modestly in the normal course of our lives. I also believe that we dishonor God when we dress in ways to rebel against our parents or any other authority in our lives such as a school dress code. We honor God when we honor those who HE has placed in authority over us.

Romans 13:2
Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
