Mel asked for a divorce last night.
She didn't even try to fix things (she said so herself).
She didn't allow me time to change.
She just left.

How can you leave someone without trying to fix things?

really, nobody leaves without trying to fix things in a relationship. ... or a marriage either (to put a more permanent color on the relationship.) More often, folks tend to leave when they have lost hope. They've lost hope that change will happen because it's been promised before (and didn't happen) They've lost hope that change can occur because of repeated dissapointments (when it hasn't.) They've lost hope and they can no longer be hopeful and must face the reality that sometimes you lose

I'm really sorry for you, Man. More sorry for your baby. I know divorce is hard, hard on people, really hard on kids.

It's sad that she's leaving without trying to fix anything. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though. Anything worth having is worth fighting for.
