While I don't generally see people giving out New Testaments to people walking by 77 Mass Ave as a bad thing,(it's much less annoying than people asking for money), it seems poor form to do so on the start of the Jewish High Holy Days.

Interesting.

I find handing out New Testamets to be in much poorer taste than asking for money. Asking for money isn't implicitly telling people "you're wrong, I'm right"

But then, prostletizing is one of my pet peeves.

somehow I think the people handing these things out don't know when the High Holy Days are.
