usually im good at taking bad news..but this time its almost unbearable...amy told me how she felt and it wasnt the answer that i wanted or needed...im glad that she was honest and didnt try to make it sound better than it really was...everything i have ever felt for her is still there but now i know that none of it will ever come true...whoever

There's no stronger feeling than love, especially unrequited love.
Ah well, I always take comfort in remember that of all the women I was so in love with... now, looking back, I'm glad I never ended up with ANY of them, and glad they didn't end up with ME.
My first wife (who I'm still married to, and who I hope to Jehovah will be my last wife) is the best woman in the world and I love her so deeply. Funny, too, since it wasn't "love at first sight" and it took us a long time to shift from "friends to lovers".
But there's no doubt... unrequited love is the strongest emotion. You never forget.
