So I've been bumped/hit by a car while on my bike, on the way home from the bank. But tell you what got me really angry~ The car hit my back tire and bent it a little. It's currently nearly impossible to ride it because the break rubs against the bend

Oof, as someone who bikes everywhere, I know that's no fun! If you've got auto insurance, you should talk to them about hit-and-run coverage and see if they'll cover the repairs on your bike, as if the wheel really is bent out of shape then my experience indicates it'll be cheaper to buy a new bike than to get a shop to just purchase a wheel.
