So I just got a "promotion" at work. It's more of a sidegrade than a promotion though. But it's something I'm excited about doing. I'll be doing more client interaction and dealing with the more social/connected people in the company, which I think will be good for me as a person and growing. I take my video ipod and watch venture brothers on the cross trainer at the 24 hour gym.I am able to go because i can get excited about seeing a new episode of scrubs or venture brothers or daily show on my ipod.

Congratulations on your horizontal movement at your job! It sounds like a great opportunity for growth, as you said. Also, I think it's great that you've decided to take up running. Erin will be great at motivating you, and I'm sure you'll both reach your goals. Good luck! :)
