I can ask around, but from first glance, it sounds like a lot of custom programming - I don't think there's a program that can quickly/easily generate that for you. I believe if you were to do that in HTML, each item and item combo would have to be its own page (which would require a lot of pages).
As for the design section, I think you can do that in Excel, but it would also require a certain amount of programming (designing formulas to get you the A) Tunic B)Men's large = x yards of fabric and $Y, not necessarily something you'd have to hire a programmer for). I don't think it needs to be part of the website, it can be a reference file on your computer.
I'll let you know if I find out anything more helpful.
If you go to Drea Leeds web site, she has such a doll -- it's a Java Applet (I think) for dressing Cecily. You could contact her and find out about the scripts that run it -- if she did it, she'd be able to help -- or she might be able to put you in contact with the folks that did it.
Ah IE- that's why I can't make it go. If it's the same page that ravenhbh showed me a bit back, that is where I got this idea from. It's linking that with a shopping cart and some CADdy stuff. I just might figure this out1
OMG! That is what I had in mind! I downloaded the demos of some fashion design software, but I can't get them to open. (My Media player won't go. As a result, a lot of videos people send won't play much either.) Hmm- now how to get it and put my silhouettes on it......
