I don't know you.. lol but yes The Decemberists are good live. If you like their music, which I'm assuming you do since you're going to go see them, you'll probably enjoy it a lot. They don't just play music, they perform, and they aren't snobby or annoying or anything... it's great. :P .. and the lead singer does this really cute thing with his mouth when he sings.. :X

I only got to see about 40 minutes of the decemberists before I had to high tail it across the park to catch franz but from what I saw they were wicked awesome

And 40 year old virgin was spectacular
