Red hats

I know its been forever since I posted, more on that shortly, but now an amusing aside. We were at the National Gallery of Art and ran into a large contingent of the Red Hat society, a group of women who get together to go to events and museums while wearing red hats.

One of the group had a huge diamond pin on her hat which read "Vice Queen." She

Perhaps she was merely the second to the real queen, who was absent that day, thus she was fulfilling the leadership role.

Imagine the pin the real queen sports.

And here I thought - what kind of title does she get when she steps down from that office?
