I think a better immediate solution would be for friend or friend's daughter to smack asshole in the face with a lead pipe repeatedly. If I lived closer, I'd volunteer.

Y'know, the more I think on it, the more rational that anyone who abuses animals should just be shot. There will not be any redeeming qualities found in said individuals.
