In fairness, the broad exemption labor-unions have from antitrust violations one-sided, especially since the whole purpose of a union is to monopolize a labor supply. With something like that hanging overhead, the pendulum was bound to swing the other way eventually, and pretty hard.
Acknowledging the broader point, I take exception to the mention of sidedness. Who's the other side, and why do their interests deserve parity with that of workers?
Unless the dichotomy you're painting is the interests of the worker versus those of the union, but I don't think this act addresses that in the slightest.
