I wanna drive 24-hours north, take a boat into the middle of a lake, lie in the bottom and just watch the stars. I don't think anyone really appreciates the beauty, majesty and power of the stars, not that we really can, what with all the light and noise pollution cluttering up the world in which we live. To just escape and enjoy the beauty of ( Read more... )

people are dumber beyond belief, and it's infruiating to know there is nothing you can do to stop them. so i guess it's up the the rest of us to be kind, and considerate and hope that they follow by example.

One accident on a ramp would screw up half of Toronto for three and a half hours, if we did that. Not to mention, ambulances would be stuck on a friggin' highway, trying to get somewhere, but the ramp is blocked, so what do they do?

And....If we left an extra patch of grass there..."Wildlife" would not come flourish in these segrated patches of green, that are only alive because someone has to keep them alive.

When you have an accident on these ramps, they're still blocked off, as they have access from two different sides, so I really don't see your point.

I wasn't really talking about the city anyway, it was more about farther out, where there are expansive fields and then highway ramps stuck rudely inside them.

The closest you can get to the Canadian Wild in my area is the Credit River. It's not like being at nature's mercy but it's pretty nice in comparison to the city.
