So I could eat free food while viewing an autopsy and embalming video? Awesome!

Seriously, I would find this interesting, and there would be the added bonus of meeting you, but my transporter is on the fritz.

Damn the lack of public transportation in Detroit and all over the US! If you feel up to it some time, I'd love to hear more about Detroit. I spent hours going through a website of rehabbed buildings the other day. Half of my family moved to Detroit in the 20s or 30s (I think) to work in the auto factories, so I have a distant personal connection to the city.

Unfortunately, it seems like the downside of rehabbed old buildings is gentrification.

I live in Maine, and don't personally own a car. However, the man I live with lets me use his. I was referring to a Star Trekkish kind of transporter. This is the twenty-first century, I think we're long overdue. At the very least, I want an air car.

Oh neat! I would love to take a time machine back to Detroit during the 20s. Visit the old ball room on Belle Isle and drink at one of the speakeasys. The left over ruins are depressing and inspiring at the same time.

We're just born at the wrong time.

Maybe our children will enjoy the convenience of teleportation.
