When did you take that picture? I saw the same place yesterday, but the for rent sign had another sign on it that said "Application Pending". It might be rented already. :(

It was a really nice looking place though, and in a really great location.

I'll keep my eyes open for you later this year. Are you thinking about living alone or rooming? I like apartment hunting. It's a form of voyeurism.

I just love how $750 for a one bedroom is now "cheap".
I lived on that same block nine years ago, and my huge two bedroom apartment (with wood stove, a balcony, and free shag carpet) was $575.
At least now it's quite a bit easier to find places that allow pets--even dogs. Landlords are caving to the Portland-animal-lover faction. Hee!

I was paying $900 for a one bedroom when I first moved here in 2000, but it was the top floor of an apartment downtown. I think prices as a whole haven't gone up so much as the inner east side has started to match the west side. We will all live in St. Johns eventually...
