It's very beautiful. And yeah, bittersweet is a good word to describe it.
No. It's been a really hard stuggle lately (it always is, but you know, moreso), and there's been times when I've been so tempted that I almost gave in. But I haven't.
How did you become an alcoholic - and I don't mean the obvious physical predisposition to being an addict, I mean, what happened, what's that chapter in your life?

I guess it started when my uncle put me in boarding school. I felt like he was abandoning me because I wasn't useful enough to him, or good enough at what we did. I got in with the bad girls at the school, and they had alcohol and taught me how to get it, and it just made everything hurt less that way. I had friends and I was having fun (sort of) and I didn't have to constantly think about my uncle not wanting me.
It was a defense mechanism that never really stopped. And then I wanted it even when I wasn't hiding from something.
I guess that's why I always have a stronger urge to drink when someone leaves. Classic conditioning or something.
I have no music on now because Tripod is asleep and he gives me the stink eye when I wake him up.
What a nice way to put it. You're sweet. But I don't mind, really.
That is an awesome question! What are you good with? I can set you up with some volunteer time, unless you are interested in an actual job.
Okay, that wasn't an answer though. Hah. I need paperwork people, research help, a lot of stuff at the moment is very data-y and office work. Boring stuff for you, I'm sure. But I can always use your help with planning. Expansion to more hands on work is our goal.

Yeah... I think we all revert to our "comfort" behaviours when people leave us.

I really don't have a question. I think the stuff I know about you should come like organically. (Big word, go me! :D)

Yeah, I don't mind not being asked tough questions with no lead in. I offered myself for it, but.
So ask me something silly!
