Why do I feel like I'm writing the epilogue of my life? I know it sounds melodramatic, but I honestly feel like I'm in the last chapter of a book. I was hanging out with ben yesterday, and his roommates have an adorable dog. I've since learned otherwise, but I thought he might be a mix between a Doberman and a Miniature Dachshund. Turns out he's just a miniature Doberman. That being said, I have coined the word "dobermachshund" (Doh-Bur-MACHS-und) to describe such a pairing.

I just got back from Art Night Out with Emily and Dave and Jenny. 'twas good to get out of the house for once. also felt good to go somewhere besides work dressed in my snazzy new tie and hat. Those who know me well know that I tend towards hyperbole when describing negative things. It appears I've been rather rash in my assessment of the situation. Have an appointment at 5 tonight for physical therapy, have an appointment next Friday with a psychiatrist. guess the timetable wasn't so bad after all. Just got back from the doctor. what I thought was just a temporary pain in my leg could in fact be a herniated disc which is putting pressure on my sciatic nerve. She prescribed twice weekly physical therapy for 8 weeks, 3 ibuprofen 3x a day, ice 3x a day, and stretching as often as possible.
