I met with five other women on our local trance team Sunday, and one of the things we talked about was the material in my last LJ post - how do you bridge the experience for those who trance easily, and don't want to go too deep - and those who need a strong induction to get them there

Yes - a good friend introduced me to the work of Stephen Cope, who works with the concept of the witness a lot, so I sparked to it right away when Amy brought it up. Cope approaches the Witness as a companion that supports us - which fits in with this approach to trance, too -
