Liani has tummy trouble

I'm going to start off with a question:

Is it possible that Liani could be *gasp* teething already??  She's 24 days old.  I think I see two little toothies just starting to show in the bottom front.  Isn't she way too young though?

Also, she has some poopy problems.  Yesterday and the day before, her poo smelled sour.  (She's exclusively breastfed ( Read more... )

hehe....the Kefir is for me to drink. My midwife suggested for me to take acidophilus and probiotic cultures and I noticed that Kefir has a lot in it. I have no idea if it will do anything at all but figured I could at least try it!

I haven't had any yet though.

As far as Liani goes, she's going to get ONLY mama milk until she's at least 6 months old.

It could be what you're eating. You probably want to stay away from onion, garlic, chocolate and broccoli just off the top of my head. Lili did that though quite a bit, in fact I seem to recall her poop shooting across the room once when I wasn't quick enough to get a diaper on her! lol :)

Could you actually feel her teeth poking through her gums? Could it have been some left over milk in her mouth? Our doctor always recommended wiping her gums with a piece of gauze after she fed to clean out any left over milk in there and promoting healthier gums for teething... :)

Just some thoughts. :)

Is she fussy? I would call your doctor if you are truly worried but also if she's not fussy... I wouldn't worry too much.

I haven't eaten onion, garlic, or broccoli for those very reasons. Chocolate, well, I can't say the same. I really hope it's not that because I LOVE chocolate!!! My mother in law suggessted dairy as well. I hope it's not that either ( ... )
