I'm supposed to be in the middle of a temp job right now - that's right, I said supposed to be. It's a data entry job where we're (there are 6 temps) supposed to set it up so that people can take courses in Word, Excel and PowerPoint online, but the problem is that the company has been waiting since Tuesday for additional data so I haven't been to

Maybe the seasonal job could turn into permanent to. Is there someplace that you like to shop? Apply there and you can use their discount, like maybe Kirklands, hobby lobby? Someplace that might not be as much of a mad house as Target or Walmart during the holidays. I hope you find something. I'm stressed trying to find a new job,and I still have one> I can only imagine how stressful it is for you.

Eh, been there, done that, don't want to do retail as a permanent career.

Yeah, since I have worked retail in a past life, I know how bad it can be on certain days (Black Friday, Christmas Eve, day after Christmas.) I saw on their website though that Target has a position called team member that just means you work on the floor doing stock work which might not be as bad as cashiering with regard to the madhouse level. Hobby Lobby or Michaels is an interesting idea, though, especially with Hobby Lobby not being open on Sundays.

Good luck with your search. It took me 2 1/2 years of looking and applying for more jobs than I have my entire life to finally get a new one. It'll happen for you too.
