Went to the local Scarecrow Festival this weekend- many nice displays, food, crafts, rides, ect. We also went to a corn maze and a haunted woods! I hate Barney the purple dinosaur. I know he's not cool any more [even kids think he's a dork] but my son,Sean, indirectly brought Barney up yesterday. When Sean was a little guy and I would cook cornish game hens I'd tell him we were going to eat'Barneys'. It was a dumb family joke at the time. One Halloween evening waaaay back when I was living in Ohio, I was giving out treats to the kids. This big, ole, fat lady brings her three kids up to the door. Two of them were way too old to be candy begging and weren't wearing costumes. The little kid was dressed up so I gave him a treat. It was a few years back in October when myself, my husband, Dale and another couple went to a local haunted house for some laughs.
