I got a lecture from my son about shells

...out of the blue..it was time for bed and he said Mommy we have to talk. He is in bed with a shell I got him from Destin last time I went with my sister

Mommy you see this shell? It was a crab's home...now he got nowhere to go. He is cold and lonely.

What is also awesome is his compassion for a creature much different from himself. He didn't just describe the crab's physical nature, but he was thinking about how the crab might feel....and it is adorable. I think that shows how well he is being raised. :)

I will say that it is his spirit and I am along for the ride. (but I hope in a really quiet way that I can help him and be a good influence and have a positive affect on him)

It really struck me..he was so serious and so in the moment...he was really emotional about it.

I have a lot to learn from my little guy.

LOL...I was thinking babe...yes I guess there is nothing deep about baoooooon (balloon) but darn weren't they cute?

He does have some good points about a lot of things...and he is only 3 and change (well more like almost 4):)
