Oh wow. OK, I actually don't even know/remember how I stumbled onto this journal, I think you may have RPed with one of my friends sir_hellsing but I just wanted to say how totally blown away I was by your entries here. I actually read from first post to last and found myself totally in awe of your willpower and ability to give such life and personality to a character with such little screen/page-time. And what more? to do it while being nearly the only Iscariot member in the game and the one to stay the longest out of all of them. That's such an amazing feat and I totally commend you for it, I wonder if I could have lasted so long without having to rely on canon-mates

Oh goodness, this was the last thing I expected to find in my inbox. Man.
Geez, I don't where to start. Thank you so, so much. I actually wondered, as time went on and she began to develop in the game, how this version of the character would look to someone just randomly coming in and reading her posts, if the ideas about the character I was working with would make any sense to other fans.
It's a real relief to hear that she didn't read as overly emo, because that was a big concern I had when playing her as time went by and bad things happened. This comment was totally a shot in the arm of confidence, so again, thank you. :)
It's always really neat to find other Yumie/Yumiko players, I tend to feel like the only one! XD I've gotta ask, where are you playing her?

Oh god it's actually pretty embarrassing to say XD! I've started playing her at a 'AU Highschool' based game called Clairbourn. It's actually pretty damn lame there, but the Heinkel player there was desperate for a companion; I play Alucard there regularly too to keep the Anderson there sane (or more insane?). I did it more of a challenge to see if I could adapt Hellsing characters to an 'IRL' setting while keeping them true to their nature. It's proved interesting but frustrating at times. :/ More or less you've gotta make your character 'realistic', so as an example: Yumie couldn't keep her split personality, but could be considered Bi-polar; with her outbursts being labeled as nearly a totally different person to whom she really is

Oh, the siren song of a lonely Heinkel player~ That's interesting, I've been considering trying something along the lines of an integrated but bipolar personality the next time I play her (for variety's sake and because it could be argued to be the case in Hellsing canon proper outside of Crossfire), and props to you for trying her in such a setting.
Aw, shucks. Again, I'm glad and flattered to have been an inspiration.
Sorry to say, no. I've actually been shopping around for a new place to give Sister Takagi another go, myself. XD I don't know of any single-fandom regular Hellsing games going on right now, but if you'd like to practice her with other cast members, I did just make a new Hellsing RP dressing room and you'd be welcome to join. It's over at hellsingdrssing, if you're interested. :)
And hey, I couldn't help but check out your icons and noticed you've got some marked "????" Just so you know whom to credit, I was the one who made those.
