I am betting this will definitely be the show of the year. I once proclaimed that no matter how much it cost me, I would pay the price in order to see this band perform live, and I have done just that. I've spent $150 for two tickets, good for one showing of The Pogues on Tuesday, October 10, at the Fillmore, in darling San Francisco, CA.

Tonight I learned that my inspiration to become a television news anchor has sadly passed away. Peter Jennings' voice and picture entered my home five days a week ever since I was child, until his last professional broadcast in April 2005. The man who owns this warehouse is the nicest guy ever. After the bloody fight at Ramallah, he took us in and helped clean up our friend. He also gave us free food and drink, and offered to put us up for the night.

After a pointless drive to a remote location which we could not find, we gave up. Our cars turned around and made the disappointed trek back to The Apartment. A bit disheartened, we exited our vehicles and headed inside to hopefully find something else to do. But we didn't make it out of the apartment complex again that night ( Read more... )
