So... I was wondering.

Does anyone else find that the more time they spend at Pentamerone, they get flashes of past lives? Like, not just of their tale, but of past reincarnations too? Is that normal? A normal part of being a Tale, I mean. God, I hope it's not just me.

Well, whatever. Point is, I think the memories and shit come a lot easier when your head's in a different place. Drugs, alcohol, if you haven't been sleeping, or when you're dreaming, or if you took cough medicine or whatever. And at the Pen, which is like an altered state of consciousness itself.

That's good. I mean, it wasn't anything bad but it's just weird to suddenly remember being able to speak fluent Russian when I've never...

I'm pretty sure I used to be Russian. I got a sense that I used to be able to speak it fluently, anyway.

That's not fair. I've been here for an equivalent of a year and I haven't had a single flash of insight on a past life. Why do you get the cool past life flashbacks?

I was lucky - someone I knew was already aware. It made accepting things a whole lot easier when I knew I wasn't alone. Or insane.

Me too. I've got Troy... my brother. He's one too. He's known about it longer than I have, though. I've only known a few months now.
