As some of you might already be aware, I adopted a new habit this past year along with a new commute. I listen to conservative talk radio on my drive home. I actually listen to this guy who is the kinder, softer new Christian conservative. The kind who reprimands his listeners if they start frothing at the mouth. For example, one of the first shows

Could you tell us some of what these people have to say? I was reading all the comments on the article in the LA Times, and it's the first time in so very long that I was so jazzed and happy, the stupid Christian fundamentalist Republicans just made me laugh.

I wish I weren't in the midst of finals. I'd like to go to the Castro and hug some people.

Back when I drove a lot, I would often tune into Conservative Talk Radio. I liked the really loony stuff like Michael Savage. The headline of his (comically ill-designed) website reads:
