I am becoming increasingly fascinated by the marketing machine as it pertains to musicians. Who gets the marketing dollar and who languishes just outside the great public domain. I used to work in alzheimer's homes as an activities coordinator. What this meant, essentially, if that I came up with lesson plans that would increase mental and physical activity, while both staying within both their capabilities and being age appropriate. Best job ever.

Today, as I reached over to liberate the little tube of Thin Mint cookies from their box, I misread the text on the side as saying: Courage, Confidence, *Calories*.

I thought, "Wow. This new baking company is really cool with the truth in advertising." And then the sugar hit my system and I woke up.
