I want to make my mom a quit for her birthday with the boys, kinda a granny quilt, suggestions on what to put on it?

well, I don't know much about quilting... it'd be cool if you could do some pics of the kids on it. I know there's a way to do pic on t-shirts... so there's got to be a way to do it on just fabric so you can sew it into stuff. cost might be an issue though.

Do you have any of the boys old clothing or blankies that you could cut up? That would so rock to have that in it! It would make it extra special for sure.

Plenty of people make t-shirt quilts out of old t-shirts. You could also take t-shirt material and have the kids do different fabric paint things on it or handprints to fill it out.

Do a solid pattern then alternate it with squares they have done themselves. I like that, thanks
