In lieu of writing an actual novel (or attempting to write one) during NaNoWriMo, I'm going to write something in here every day this month. At least that is the plan. : ) It will be good to get back into the habit of writing more or less regularly

One of my high school classmates is already divorced and has a tween daughter (I do not think she is quite a teenager yet).

My mom's sister was a grandmother by the time she was 37 - 2 years younger than I am now. It's mind-boggling that my high school friends are sending their kids away to college. And, I can think of one who is (technically) a grandmother. She's recently reconnected with the daughter she gave up for adoption when she was a senior in high school, and that "little girl" recently had a baby. Weird. I know I'M not old enough for that!
