I'm so sorry for your loss. :-( If I'm reading the dates right at the end there, he was 15 years old, which is a long and fulfilling lifetime for a dog. That doesn't make it any easier on the people they leave behind, though. Be good to yourself... *hugs*

I am so sorry about your loss :( He had loved one around him and I am sure he appreciated the very though decision you had to make. As someone who has had to go through that twice, I understand how painful it is.

Oh, no, Rachel, I'm so sorry. I always enjoyed reading about Barney and I know how much he meant to you and it's one of the hardest things to do when you know you have to let a beloved pet go. My thoughts are with you and David, and Barney was a VERY lucky dog to be so well loved.

I'm glad that Barney had you at the end, he had a good long life with you. It's just a bit over a year that we put Swag down and it still hurts. It's never easy.
