Question about the pill

I got put on it like three weeks ago, how long do you have to wait before having unprotected sex? And if you are like 30 minutes late does that count against you on taking it? I missed it by 30 minutes last week and yesterday like 10, will it make it not work just by that short period of time or does it have to be like an hour or more?

What do you mean like 30 minutes. I don't take the pill for sex (I use it for acne) but I usually take it when I wake up for work 8:00 and Sunday I came back from my friends house and took at 1 in the afternoon.

I think it might depend on the pill on how much you have to wait. You can ask your doctor or look up the certain brand online.

You wont get pregnant if its under say, 9 hours. But if its longer then that amount of time it COULD happen but not likely, just be careful.

You can start having unprotected sex about 7 days or so after you started the pill, it really depends I think but thats what my pill booklet said.
