For whatever reason I had heard of AVPM, but had thought it looked stupid. But everyone kept talking about it so I was alright I'll see it. And it was one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. I LMAO every time Draco slithered around.
And I felt like a perv because I also couldn't take my eyes of Voldemort's body, lol.
I've got to go back to college next week too. But I'm surprisingly looking forward to it, it's been a pretty boring summer where I live.
pardon my lateness!sisterjuneAugust 17 2009, 22:00:21 UTC
yep it's so awesome i was actually intrigued the moment i heard about it but see even if it was bad and stupid I would have loved it for being a harry potter MUSICAL. i mean just, how can you go wrong with that!?
OH slithering! that's what she was doing! XD I kept wondering wtf was girl draco sliding around all over the floor and furniture for. It was hilarious but so so random but now suddenly it makes sense! you and me both, I stared holes through my comp screen at that man's body. I'm so glad he spent the majority of the play shirtless though I kept wondering if he was cold XD
HO! You knew about it all along and didnt tell me? You cant know about something like HARRY POTTER MUSICALS and not TELL everyone! I mean just GAH. but yeah I totally didnt even know it existed until 4 days ago XD
I saw ;_; I havent been able to watch the final two eps yet cause I know they will break my heart a billion times but I will be strong! and finish it...eventually!
Sorry for the late reply. I've been out of the country ^^' But yeah AVPM seemed liked someone everyone and their dog knew about. I'm lame and I know about it, s I figured the cool people would :3
sorry this is late!sisterjuneAugust 17 2009, 22:03:38 UTC
please do! and it's been 3 days now so if you already watched it then I hope you enjoyed it and if you havent yet I hope you enjoy it when you do! It's definitely not boring so even if you dont like it you hopefully wont be bored. :)
I think I will send you pre-emptive hugs for the final three episodes of Skins, because if you love Chris, then you are probably going to need them.
Also, complete and utter word to what you wrote about Effy. There were slight glimmers of that Effy in the first episode (eg. "How does it feel, being the doormat?"), but as soon as she fucked Cook, she just became an object for two (hell, three if you include JJ) to fight over. I miss my enigmatic, dark, don;t-fuck-with-me-or-my-brother Effy, dammit!!
My main problem with series 2 is that it felt very rushed in places, particularly in Chris' episode. I almost wish S3 could have been used as a proper post-script to S2, so that there was more time in which the writers could tell the stories that they wanted to.
Jal's episode made me cry like a baby and I havent been able to bring myself to watch the last two episodes yet but I will definitely do it...eventually! I've made peace with the fact they kill of chris even though it feels so unfair, I mean the kid was finally doing something with his life! woe ;_;. Also I just realized like a few hours ago that the actor who played chris had made a cameo in an episode of merlin. I totally didnt know that the first time i saw it. *feels behind

I watched the final episode the same weekend I watched the series 2 finale of Torchwood, and let's just say it was a very depressing weekend. I still haven't made peace with the fact that Chris was killed off, and it's been over a year. I loved that crazy, little dude so much, and like you said, he was just getting his life together. And hee, the only reason I started watching Merlin was because I knew Joe Dempsie made a cameo in it ;p
I do love s2, I think the premiere episode of that series is the best episode (well, maybe apart from Effy's S1 episode) this show has ever done. It's just one of the few tv series that I thought could have used a few more episodes, just so it didn't feel as rushed as it did. Oh, I was bawling my eyes out at the end of the final episode. It didn't help that they had a cast wrap-up montage at the very end, with a clip from every teen actor who featured. When they reached Joe Dempsie, I just lost it.
I didnt really adore and love chris till S2 but even before then I knew he got killed off. Which is why I was prepared for it even though I was really upset about it cause he's SO adorable! I mean at first I didnt care for him but after his episode in S1 and seeing him become more chill and mature in S2, not to mention his devotion to Jal. I just totally fell in love. and then got my heart broken when I saw him die even though I knew it was coming I had no idea I'd be as upset as I was. It hurts especially cause he felt so real, it's not like when people die in other shows to me. I hate that Chris died cause I feel like it was done for drama more than anything and I just wanted him to do well in life! Cause I totally sympathize with feeling like a failure and a fuck up even though his reasons for being apathetic about his life were a little different from mine. Gah I'm gonna get all emo I should stop :( But yeah I think I was only able to just accept it cause I knew it was happening a long way ahead. Something I will never make peace

You're gonna hate what happens in the last few episodes. Specifically, you're gonna hate what they do to Chris :{
