Basically before yesterday I hadnt updated for a while and wasnt really commenting on my flist's entries for the most part. The reason is I am very busy lately with school, with getting my life together because I'm getting older, my parents are getting more burdened ( Read more... )

OH GOD I JUST TYPED THIS HUGE RESPONSE AND IT GOT DELETED ERG.

I will just say I had fun watching the True Blood finale as a cap to my epic 7 episode marathon. It worked for me, but yeah it was certainly bizarre. I didn't see it stamping out the notion of a higher power succinctly in that one line across the entire show and its themes, but I do see the metaphor (that it was her belief that caused her undoing) and think that it's actually great due it it being so fucked up. I'm actually really impressed by this show and it's inclusion of religion and ideas and notions of god. They entertain the idea constantly in scenes, plotlines, and characters and their own ideas and opinions. I definitely didn't see Mary Ann's conclusion as the show being like "our supernatural world has no god or gods" ever at all ever. Was that what you're saying or you just didn't like the metaphor as to how it played out with Mary Ann ( ... )

YES they all have an awesome flow, the seasons do! It's almost as though you're meant to just sit and stare at it for 12 hours straight, lol. And the structure of the last ep was definitely out of the ordinary, so I can certainly see how everyone is all WTF ( ... )

we all were disappointed about the final of true blood...

but for me... i read the books... i´m just pissed about the fact that they changed so much contrary to the books....

nothing is right.... i love the sookie from the books but on screen she is a very different woman *sigh*

and i say that not because of the whole sookie/bill/eric thing.... no... all is just so wrong!

the others shows i don´t watch, so i can not really say something about them :)

I actually dont mind how the show diverges from the books. mostly cause i havent read the books and dont care to start lol. i think the show should do it's own thing while using the books as a template rather than gospel. plus i think i love true blood for everyone BUT sookie and bill. whereas in the books it's pretty much just sookie sookie bill sookie sookie eric sookie sookie etc. not to knock your tastes or anything. it's cool if you prefer the books. i'm just sayin i cant really relate with you on the books > tv thing.

Nate's suits are always horrible, and I love it!

I enjoyed the treadmill scene of Psych this week. So far, nothing has topped Gus going through the lasers in the season opener, for me. That was so hilarious.

Oh yeah, I don't blame Shawn at all. Gus would probably do the same to him.
