That poor snake. What an odd pose to die in, too. Reminds me of when I saw a dead black cat over on the ASU campus. It was flat on its back, leaning over slightly to the side, all four legs stuck in the air. That was just ridiculous, plus I'm sure it didn't actually die there (some frat boys probably found it elsewhere and dumped it on the grounds in an inconspicuous place as a joke).

My friend thinks it was in mid-strike maybe going for something, but it could have just done that as a spasm after being run over :(
