This post made me smile, as did the thought of Laura getting all dolled up (I want pictures!). Also, I'm visiting yo crib soon, so get your Scandinavian self all ready-like, okay?
Wow, linguistics is turning me into a dork: I started analyzing your second sentence as a mixture of African-American and Southern vernacular and then wanted to hit myself with a stick. Yes, there will be lots and lots of both candid and posed shots with pretty much everyone at the December (especially Ian, who keeps claiming that he is an accessory.) Also, I am not Scandinavian, but I will be ready. Punk. :-p
I demand pictures and sympathize with ridiculous exam times. No, the administrators *don't* know what they're doing. Twilight fans are, indeed, crazy. I hope everyone saw the new South Park tonight. Epic posts crit on a 17-20.
Exactly. Crazy people and their unreasonable schedules. My friends and I could make a better one in two days with lots of consultation with people who cared. I have not seen South Park, but I may find it *totally legally* later.
I am so sorry. I don't know when they started doing Saturday exams, but I don't remember having one back in the day. I agree that their scheduling sounds all whacked out. One day it will be a good story. Thanks for posting such a long entry when I know you are busy. I like long Laura posts:-) Let us know when you will arrive so I can go threaten the fatted calf. Rachel went off to school today with your blck Hallowween cloak to wear when she recites a speech by the friar in "Romeo and Juliet." gtg-- can't wait to see you.
Everyone I know agrees that Saturday exams are stupid and ridiculous on a number of levels, but the schedulers don't care about us. (le sigh) Oh well.
I like doing long posts occasionally, and I felt that such an angry rant shouldn't be wasted on whomever was nearby when I started sputtering. Ride: I've confirmed with Thomas. We're leaving between five and six on Tuesday afternoon and splitting gas 50/50. I can call you when I'm close, but there's no way I'll be there in time for dinner. See you in a few days!
Yayyy! We'll have all lights blazing Tuesday night. The Tamez clan will arrive in the weeee hours Wednesday. The grapevine says we will do the Stone Mountain thing that day. Counting down..T minus three days 'til familial hullabullo.
Oh, excellent. I will totally jump on the lights for something warm to eat and a bed. Tonight I'm up late finishing a paper and tomorrow night I have Di Phi elections, which will go super late because no one knows how to shut up. I am going to be so dead tired, but I can't wait to see everyone.
