Actually "Celt" with a soft-c refers to a group of people in Scotland, hence the Glascow soccer team that spells and pronounces its name the same as your basketball team. the Irish pronounciation is properly done with a hard-c, so it sounds like "Kelt."

As a person obsessed with everything Irish, I thought that I'd mention this :)
