Question 1 didn't surprise me at all. I think the anti-s waged an effective campaign (although all the money spent by both sides was ridiculous). From an economic standpoint all they were doing was opening up a new market, which may not have affected small businesses at all. But increasing the amount of access points for alcohol for young people was a scary proposition for some. On top of that, most of us have lived with ridiculous blue laws our entire lives - we are used to this, and it doesn't seem like a huge inconvenience. Most of the people who wanted me to vote yes on 1 were my student-musician friends from states where you buy guns and beer at CVS, and they can't vote here to begin with.

Did you ever see the video of him going mental in the Senate one day? It is absolutely brilliant. His passion for democracy and justice shouts loud and clear. And furthermore I love his son too - people need to pull their heads out of their asses and take a look at these men in action on Capitol Hill.
In and of himself (and nothing to do with his brothers) I have very high regard for Teddy. I met him when I was 16 when he stayed at my friend's father's place. Chatted to him a fair ol bit and he's a lovely guy.
